Shuttle challenger explosion.
Peace however brief with Russia, then the USSR.
The fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany.
Gulf War
9/11. I had therapy that day and it was surreal as no radio station was playing music.
What’s the biggest risk you’d like to take — but haven’t been able to?
The biggest risk I’d like to take is pursuing my degree. So far I haven’t been able to achieve this.
What are you most proud of in your life?
That I wrote an article for the New York Times.
What have you been working on?
I’ve been working on my book, which I hope to publish next year. Also, been working on my trauma issues. It has been hard.
