Fall day and first quiz
Because I am playing Hooky next Monday with my history class, I had to do two assignments. Problem was yesterday I was tired and didn’t feel like doing squat. I did them this morning, even though that meant leaving later than planned. The new med is still giving me a hangover and it is really hard to get up in the morning.
It is cold today but nice. I had to wear a hoodie as it was quite windy. My curtain which is wrapped around my AC is no long as such. I need to fix it and block the vents so my room doesn’t become an ice box like it did last winter. It is cold in my room now but tolerable. I just need to put on a long sleeve shirt.
I went to class and had a half hour to spare. I tried studying but my mind was frazzled. It couldn’t hold on to any information. It was worse when I was handed the quiz. I barely remembered anything I had learned over the last few weeks. I had to cite sources and shit and my brain was like fuck that. Here is some info I remember. I hope it is enough to at least pass the quiz.
There was delays on the way home but I wasn’t in a rush. I just made the bus which was good. I would have been mad if I had to wait for the next one. The guy that was at the bus stop when I was waiting in the morning was there when I was coming home. OMG he started talking about a bunch of shit, mostly saying he couldn’t get his ADHD meds anymore for whatever reason. And then he just started talking to himself. I think he was homeless or something. He didn’t pay the bus but only went a few stops.
I came home very hungry. I had a little of everything but mostly the zucchini bread my sister made. It is so good. I might have soup for tonight because it is cold out. I need to buy more. I think I only have a couple cans left. I got a recipe for Wisconsin cheddar and potato soup. I have never made a soup before. I know my sister has. She makes a good corn chowder.
Taylor comes out with a deluxe version of Showgirl and I am debating buying it. It has four new songs. It will be released on Friday. I am excited though. I don’t know if she is releasing a video with her new songs. She is releasing a single. I cannot wait. I love her so much.
